Location: North Chailey, East Sussex, BN8 4EF

Salary: £48,000 - £55,000 per annum

Contract: Permanent, Flexible working arrangements available.

Our client is looking for a “Head of Engagement”!

The Role

• Lead a purpose-driven team in an organisation that transforms lives.
• Drive meaningful engagement through PR, digital marketing, and stakeholder relations.
• Shape their brand voice and influence key decision-makers.
• Have an impact on the lives of young people with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic engagement plan across PR, digital, communication and marketing.
• Build and manage relationships with colleagues, donors, families, and wider stakeholder audiences.
• Oversee brand reputation and crisis communications.
• Lead a high-performing team, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
• Use data-driven insights to refine communication strategies.

Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience in PR, communications, and marketing.
• A natural leader with a strategic mindset and hands-on approach.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, able to influence at all levels.
• Digitally savvy, with expertise in social media, content marketing, and digital tools.
• A passion for the charity sector, social care, and education.
