Coffee Van Barista Location: Maidenhead and surrounding area (mobile role) Salary: £14.05 per hour Vacancy Type: Bank Staff, 4,6 or 8 hours shifts Closing Date: 18th August 2026 Help us launch something special. Alexander Devine Children's Hospice Service is embarking on an exciting new venture – a mobile coffee business serving exceptional, ethically sourced coffee at community events and local workplaces across Maidenhead and the surrounding area. Every cup of coffee sold will help fund the specialist care and support we provide to babies, children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions and their families. We're looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Barista to join us from the very beginning and play a key role in making this exciting social enterprise a success. About the role This is far more than a Barista position. You'll be the face of our new coffee van, creating outstanding customer experiences while acting as an ambassador for Alexander Devine. You'll supervise a team of volunteer assistant baristas and drivers, ensuring every customer receives exceptional coffee and a warm welcome. You'll help establish the coffee van as a destination that people actively seek out – not only because of the quality of the coffee, but because every purchase helps make a real difference to local babies, children, young people and their families.
