Dental Nurse/Receptionist

Location:  Longstanton, Cambridgeshire

Salary: From £12.95 per hour

Hours: Part Time (3-4 days a week, plus holiday & sickness cover on occasion)

The Role

The company are seeking a dedicated and organised qualified Dental Nurse/Receptionist to replace a long serving member of staff who is retiring.

Their small mixed NHS/Private family run Practice would like someone who is happy to work along with a Dentist or Hygienist in the surgery and cover Reception.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming environment for their patients while managing all tasks efficiently.

Skills and Qualifications

This position requires excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to patient care, making it essential for the smooth operation of the practice.

• GDC registered
• Experience in dental nursing and reception
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient care

Skills

• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
• Experience in patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs
• Proficiency in IT, including familiarity with dental software systems
