They have been at the forefront of social and environmental regeneration in London for over 25 years, and today they have a simple mission: to create better places, improve people’s prospects, and promote greener living and working.

They are passionate about creating a future where every neighbourhood is vibrant and green, every community is strong and able to shape its own destiny, and no one is held back by their background or circumstances.

The Role

Are you passionate about young people and keen to play a pivotal role in their open access service leading on early intervention and prevention to improve the mental wellbeing of children and young people across the London Borough of Southwark?

The mental wellbeing support service is for young people aged 0 – 25 living in the London Borough of Southwark. Since launching as a remote service in May of 2020, The service has gone from strength to strength, expanding its core offer of therapeutic support to incorporate a holistic approach to wellbeing. To support the ever-expanding service, they are looking to recruit a sessional worker who can commit to working at least two Saturdays a month. Together with the drop-in team, they will be the first friendly faces to greet service users when they walk through the door and work to immediately put them at ease. You will be responsible for creating a safe space where young people feel able to share what’s on their mind in a comfortable, relaxed, non-judgemental atmosphere.
