CAD Technician

Location: Blindley Heath – Surrey

Salary: £12.71 per hour

Vacancy Type: Full-time

Hours of work: 8:30-17:30

Balconette is a leading supplier of balustrading, privacy screens and Juliet balconies primarily to the UK market.

We are expanding and looking to add an experienced CAD technician to our UK office team.

A successful candidate will be our customers point of contact whilst their order is processed through the Technical Department.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Communicating effectively with a variety of audiences, including customers, partners and colleagues.
• Working under the Head of Technical.
• Handling design issues and provided a correct Technical solution.
• Design systems that comply with building regulations and structural calculations.
• Creating drawings packages for customer approval.
• Purchasing the product through in house CRM software.
• Converting approvals to fabrication drawing packages.
• Surveying sites when required.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proficient in AutoCAD LT and Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of SolidWorks is beneficial.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal, with a strong command of grammar and vocabulary.
• Experience in the construction industry and terminology.
• Full UK Drivers Licence
