Curriculum Team Leader - Health

Location: Worksop

Salary: £39,581 per annum

Vacancy Type: Permanent, Full Time (37hrs per week, all year round)

The Role

The organisation have a new and exciting opportunity for a Curriculum Team Leader in their Health & Social Care Department with a responsibility for programs of study from Level 2 to Foundation Degree, including in T-Level delivery. 

You will be delivering Health & Social Care qualifications at all levels and will be responsible for overseeing classroom-based learners, work placements, assessments and improving the delivery across all funding streams. 

You will have the ability to improve targets throughout the current academic year with increased scrutiny of onboarding and ongoing support and assessment of learners. You will also supervise staff within your area and have some performance management responsibilities. 

Working with a supportive team including leadership from their Curriculum Manager and working alongside lecturers. This established team of education professionals deliver engaging practical and digital study, leading their future students to gain high quality industry standards.

Skills and Qualifications

In this role industry experience is essential as well as experience delivering, assessing and verifying all levels.  You should have experience of co-ordination and managing a range of courses and be able to give their students an enriching experience from day one. 

You must have recent experience of leading or working as part of team within an education establishment, with evidence of delivering strong outcomes and high-quality teaching and learning. 

You will hold a vocational qualification at Level 3 or above and industry experience, as well as a relevant teaching qualification and assessors award, or be willing to work towards. You will hold a Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in English and Maths or be willing to work towards. 

You will be able to lead your team successfully, working collaboratively with colleagues in this area and across other subjects. You will have good contacts with industry professionals and can work with them effectively to shape their future curriculum, as well as providing excellent opportunities for their students to gain first-hand experience in this area.

Department Info

You will work as part of the curriculum team at the North Notts campus and you will also closely work with and take direction from their Curriculum Team Leaders. You will be line managed by the Curriculum Manager.
