Teacher of Maths Key Stage Leader

Location: Birmingham

Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 plus TLR 4 (£6,132)

Hours: 32.5 hours per week, term time only

The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Model outstanding teaching and deliver excellent outcomes for students
• Plan strategically, taking into account the strategic aims and priorities of the faculty and the school
• Be a good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, blending gravitas with warm engagement
• Lead by example – with integrity, creativity, resilience, and clarity
• Be able to quality assure, rigorously the work of others

Skills and Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant subject
• Focused on standards and positive outcomes     
• Adaptable - ability to adapt style to a variety of situations and people
• Experience of dealing with sensitive and confidential student information             
• Ability to teach ‘good or outstanding’ lessons
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection issues and procedures
• Knowledge and understanding of how children learn and how to motivate them
• Experience of following procedures and instructions
