Are you an organised administrator who enjoys working with data, records, and digital systems?

Rose Bruford College is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide short-term administrative support across our Student Records and Programme Administration teams. This is a varied fixed-term role, with the majority of day-to-day support focused on Student Records activity.

You will help maintain accurate student records, support data input and checking, respond to routine queries, and assist with key administrative processes that support students and colleagues across the College. The role would suit someone who is confident working with digital systems, has strong attention to detail, and enjoys providing a responsive and professional service.

We are looking for someone who is organised, accurate, and comfortable working with records and digital systems.

You might be a great fit if you:

  • Have experience entering, maintaining, or checking records within a digital system.
  • Are confident using Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Have strong attention to detail and take pride in accurate work.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues.
  • Can work with tact and diplomacy when handling queries.
  • Are organised and able to manage your workload effectively.
  • Enjoy working as part of a team.
  • Are motivated to provide a helpful and responsive service.
  • Can follow processes carefully and ask sensible questions when something is unclear.

It would be an advantage if you have experience of, or an interest in:

  • Student records or student administration.
  • The student lifecycle, including registration, enrolment, mitigation, or graduation.
  • Working in higher education, further education, or another regulated environment.
  • Supporting data quality or checking information across different systems.

Under current legislation, we have an obligation to ensure that our employees have a legal right to work in the UK.
