Head of Property Location: Based at Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service Headquarters, Butterley Hall, Ripley, Derbyshire, DE5 3RS (Agile working arrangements can be discussed with the successful candidate.) Salary: £66,088 per annum (NB The salary includes a market supplement. Both the salary and job description will be subject to annual review, original salary grade J, £55,679 - £61,011 per annum) Hours: 37 hours per week The Role Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service (DFRS) provides a wide range of services to the people who live, work and visit our county. Covering over 1,000 square miles, including both urban and rural communities with a population of approximately 1,060,000, including parts of the National Forest and the Peak District National Park. We employ over 900 people and with 31 strategically placed fire stations located across the county, we're always ready to respond, protect, and educate. The Head of Property role presents an exciting opportunity to work directly with the Area Manager Service Delivery Support and the Services Strategic Leadership Team. The postholder will lead the Services approach to asset management and sustainability, including the design and delivery of strategies and improvement programmes. Ensuring the Service maintains compliance against legislation will also be a priority for the postholder. Key Responsibilities

There will be a requirement for some travel for which a pool car will be provided. The normal working week is 37 hours however you may occasionally need to work beyond normal office hours. In return we offer;
