Community Events Officer

Location: Thame

Salary: £29,572 to £31,067 Pro Rata

Hours: Part-time (30 hours per week)

The Role

They are seeking a dynamic and creative person to join their small, dedicated team. In this role you will be at the heart of promoting Thame’s events, initiatives and Council activities through innovative use of multi-media and social platforms.

You will support the planning, organisation and delivery of community events that enhance the town’s vibrancy and foster strong relationships with residents, businesses and local organisations.

A willingness for professional development and to undertake role/sector-specific training is essential.

An interest in local issues and previous experience working in local government is desirable.
