Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (BABCP accred.) Location: Hertfordshire Salary: £28,407 per annum Vacancy Type: Permanent About The Role We’re looking for a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) to join our Talking Therapies team at HMP The Mount on a full-time basis (35 hours per week). This is a rewarding opportunity to support individuals experiencing low to moderate mental health conditions, including anxiety and depression, within a structured, recovery-focused environment. Working within a Talking Therapies service, you’ll deliver evidence-based, low-intensity psychological interventions (Step 2) designed to help people make meaningful progress in their mental health. You’ll work 1:1 and in group settings, supporting individuals to develop practical coping strategies and move forward with confidence. What you’ll be doing:

All prison-based roles are subject to enhanced DBS checks and HMPPS security vetting. These checks can take up to 5 months to complete.
