Housing Interventions Worker Location: Bridgend Salary: £26,000 per annum Vacancy Type: Permanent Are you passionate about helping people rebuild their lives through safe, sustainable housing? We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Housing Support Worker to join our team, delivering specialist housing interventions that prevent homelessness and improve housing outcomes for men on probation and those preparing for release from custody. In this rewarding role, you will play a vital part in supporting individuals to secure and sustain accommodation, helping to reduce reoffending and promote successful reintegration into the community. Working in partnership with Prison and Probation Services, local authorities, landlords, and other key stakeholders, you will provide tailored housing advice, practical support, and advocacy to meet each person's individual needs. About the Role You will deliver person-centered housing interventions, completing holistic assessments to identify housing and wider support needs. Using these assessments, you will develop structured action plans and make appropriate referrals to specialist services, ensuring individuals receive the support they need to achieve long-term housing stability. Working as part of the Camau team, you will collaborate closely with colleagues across prisons, probation, housing providers, and partner agencies. You will contribute to a high-quality service focused on homelessness prevention, public protection, and reducing reoffending, while working safely in line with organisational lone working, safeguarding, and risk management procedures.
