Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and helping people when they need it most?

We are recruiting Customer Service Advisors to join a leading UK digital bank’s contact centre in Southampton.

This is a part-time evening role, ideal for anyone looking for work that fits around daytime commitments, with most shifts worked from home. Whether you’re a student, parent, carer, graduate, an early riser with daytime commitments, or simply prefer working later in the day, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

The Role

  • Supporting customers via phone, email, live chat and social media
  • Handling a variety of queries, from simple requests to more complex issues, and taking ownership to find the right solutions
  • Responding to complaints and escalating issues where necessary
  • Contributing ideas to improve processes and enhance the overall customer experience

Hours and Hybrid Working

  • 25 hours per week, working evenings on a 6 week rota, mainly 17:00–22:00 or 19:00–00:00, including some weekends
  • 5 weeks of office-based training, Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:30, before moving on to your regular evening shifts
  • Following training, you’ll only need to attend the office one shift per fortnight, with the remaining shifts worked from home

About You

  • Previous contact centre experience is not essential. What matters most is your understanding of what great customer service looks like
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A resilient and calm approach, particularly when supporting customers who may be experiencing financial difficulties or other sensitive circumstances
  • The ability to work confidently in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Basic IT skills and confidence using technology (you’ll be provided with a MacBook)
  • An understanding of customer vulnerability and the importance of treating every customer with empathy, patience and respect
