Junior Cyber Security Operations Assistant

Location:  Bedford

Salary:  £26,000 per annum

An established SaaS provider based in Bedfordshire is seeking an detail-oriented Junior Cyber Security Operations Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in cyber security within a software environment. Full training will be provided, giving you the chance to develop practical skills in security operations, SaaS platform security, and risk management while working alongside experienced professionals.

KEY DUTIES

  • Assist with monitoring user activity and security events across cloud-based platforms.
  • Support the review of access permissions and user account controls to ensure appropriate system access.
  • Help conduct routine security audits and compliance checks across internal systems.
  • Assist with identifying and reporting potential security risks, vulnerabilities, and unusual activity.
  • Support the maintenance of security documentation, policies, and operational procedures.
  • Work with technical and customer-facing teams to promote security best practices throughout the business.
