We’re looking for a dedicated and reliable Housekeeping Assistant to join our Facilities Team at the Forward Trust. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive environment that helps transform lives. Working across both our East Knoyle and Warminster sites, you’ll play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming space for our clients, staff, and visitors.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Support the Housekeeping Team Leader to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Carry out day-to-day cleaning tasks including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitising worktops, bathrooms, and communal areas.
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, ironing, and supporting clients with their personal laundry needs.
• Manage spillages, including bodily fluids, safely and efficiently.
• Follow safe systems of work, including manual handling and infection control procedures.
• Treat clients and visitors with dignity, professionalism, and respect at all times.
• Work collaboratively with team members and respond positively to instructions.
• Care for cleaning equipment and report any faults or maintenance needs.

What We’re Looking For

• A team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
• Ability to follow procedures and work to high standards.
• Respect for confidentiality, client dignity, and privacy.
• Flexibility to work across two sites (travel required between East Knoyle and Warminster).
• Willingness to undertake mandatory training (e.g. COSHH, manual handling, infection control).
• Ability to maintain accurate records and paperwork.
• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential – full training will be provided.
