IT Engineer

Location: Droitwich

Salary: £19,500 - £23,809.50 per annum

Vacancy Type: Full-time

Hours: Mon-Fri working hours 37.5 hour a week contract. Overtime available, based on manager approval.

As an IT recycler and supplier of IT Services they have overseen more than 3 million devices through the IT lifecycle and, as a result, are perfectly placed to provide their customers with guidance and advice through this complex market. They offer a huge range of additional services, such as IT spares and logistics throughout the UK, as well as datacentre and office relocations, configuration and build, bonded stock, engineers and project managers along with their hardware specialist IT brokerage service.

The Role

As a result of continued business growth, they are actively recruiting for multiple roles within their production line warehouse. They’re looking for reliable, flexible, and team-oriented individuals who are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and committed to achieving daily operational targets. Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and accurately record incoming goods using internal company systems
  • Maintain accurate stock control and inventory management
  • Handle and process IT equipment as part of daily operations
  • Ensure high levels of attention to detail across all tasks
  • Operate in-house systems for goods-in, goods-out, and IT waste sortation
  • Perform quality assurance checks throughout the production process
  • Safely lift and handle servers, storage arrays, large printers, and related equipment in line with Health & Safety and Manual Handling guidelines
  • Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment and adhere to all health and safety procedures
  • Contribute to achieving monthly sales targets through efficient warehouse operations
  • Promote teamwork and collaboration to support both individual and company-wide goals
  • Assist in the refurbishment and resale of IT products

Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic warehouse environment
  • A proactive team player who can also work independently and use initiative
  • Strong IT skills: intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel is desirable
  • Familiarity with computers, mobile phones, and their components is advantageous (but not essential)
  • A genuine passion for technology – or a strong desire to learn and grow within the tech industry
