The Role

The council’s Regeneration, Economy and Skills are looking for a dynamic and driven full-time Work Experience Delivery Officer to lead the coordination of borough-wide work experience (WEX) programmes for Year 10 and Year 12 students across Ealing. This is your chance to shape the future workforce by connecting students with meaningful placements that build confidence, skills, and career readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with schools and employers to deliver high-quality WEX placements
  • Support vulnerable learners, including those with SEND, to access inclusive opportunities
  • Lead employer engagement, site visits, and health and safety checks
  • Deliver engaging prep sessions, employer-led activities, and post-placement debriefs
  • Be the go-to contact for employers, students, and schools throughout the WEX journey.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in coordinating work experience or employability programmes
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Confidence in managing multiple priorities and building strong stakeholder relationships
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with a commitment to safeguarding and inclusion
  • Familiarity with the Gatsby Benchmarks and local labour market trends.
