Performing Arts Music Technician Location: Brighton Salary: £22,000 per annum Brighton College is seeking to appoint a Performing Arts Music Technician Reporting to:Performing Arts Admin Supervisor Main purpose of the role:As part of the Performing Arts department, the Performing Arts Music Technician will be the day-to-day support for the music department and users of the Sarah Abraham Recital Hall. Reporting to the Performing Arts Admin Supervisor, the Performing Arts Music Technician will support the Music department in their day-to-day operations for lessons, performances, and other events. They will also support the wider Performing Arts team, especially in the delivery of the Audio & Video editing services under direction of the Theatre Operations Manager. Person Specification: The successful candidate will have experience in the following areas:
Hours of Work: This role will be on an annualised hours basis, which means the successful candidate will be expected to work a set number of hours per annum, equivalent to 40 hours per week across 35 weeks, between January and December. Weekly hours will be agreed with their line manager via a rostering system issued in advance and can be discussed in further detail at interview. Due to the nature of the role, there will be a requirement to work some evenings and weekends to support the College’s events. Holidays: Holiday entitlement is included in the salary for this role. All holiday is to be taken outside of the working weeks. Benefits:
