Due to continued growth, we are looking for a talented Quantity Surveyor / Estimator (s) to join our team based at our Ringwood Office

Office Location: Ringwood, Hampshire

Summary: Carry out the surveying / estimating for the groundworks / civil engineering sub-contracts on new housing developments, reporting to Commercial Manager / Director

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Point of Contact for all Commercial queries, concerns, or actions on a project
• Ensure KAMM Civil Engineering is aware and complies fully with its contractual responsibilities.
• Preparation, submission, and agreement of contract tenders, seeing project from inception to completion.
• Preparation, submission, and agreement of monthly applications for payment
• Preparation, submission and agreement of project variations, claims, and design changes
• Preparation of project forecasts and cost plans
• Agree and process subcontractor payments.
• Comply with company and departmental procedures and deadlines.
• Prepare and submit accurate reports that analyse and demonstrate the profitability and commercial progress of a project. 
• Work in collaboration with procurement and site management teams.

Essential Competence and Training:

• Can demonstrate 3 years + in Surveying / Estimating of UK residential groundworks projects.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Advanced in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Working Knowledge of Bluebeam or similar construction software system
