About The Role

We are currently recruiting for an Admin Lead to join our Counselling Team, delivering intensive, structured treatment programmes to clients admitted to Clouds House, (based in East Knoyle, Wiltshire, SP3).

Here at Forward Trust, Clouds House is one of Forward’s residential substance misuse treatment centres in East Knoyle, Wiltshire. Clouds House delivers a structured interpersonal and 12 Step treatment programme, designed to help those with substance and behavioural addiction maintain abstinence and develop long term sustainable recovery.

Over the last 40 years Clouds House has helped over 12,000 clients work towards a life in recovery and helped to create a growing recovery culture through our alumni. Our ambition is to significantly increase recovery capital, whilst offering treatment to as many clients, irrespective of means, as possible.

Role Responsibilities

The Admin team act as both front of house and perform the key admin functions for Clouds House Treatment centre and therefore the role of Admin Lead is vitally important in terms of communicating the quality and professionalism of the treatment setting. The Lead role will be to support the admin team in providing a high quality reception for beneficiaries alongside professional administrative support to all teams and the Service Manager, regarding CQC compliance matters and therefore a very high level of organization and attention to detail will be needed for the role.  The role will also require high levels of compassion and the ability to listen to and sensitively navigate calls from clients and family members who at times may be in distress. At the same time, the role requires clarity in communication and the capacity to convey boundaries both respectfully and concisely. Creating and compiling good quality reports and providing accurate data will also be a function of this role, therefore good report writing skills and an understanding of how to understand data and communicate this effectively will be optimal.

Please note this role is part time at 28 hours per week.

Essential

  • Ability to work with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Ability to learn new systems including to input onto an electronic
  • record management system
  • Experience of working with at times distressed individuals, listen
  • to their needs and communicate respectfully and clearly
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team

Desirable

  • Knowledge and understanding of 12 step philosophy
  • Experience of working in a regulated health and/or social care environment
