Enabling Support Worker Location: Colchester Salary: £12.30 per hour Hours: 40 hours per week Please note this role does not qualify for visa sponsorship, as the salary requirements set by the Home Office are not satisfied. The Role As an Enabling Support Worker it will be your role to provide support and encouragement, by taking direction from both the person supported and the person centred support plan. You will be required to maintain accurate records while at work, in line with the service requirements. You may also be required to administer personal care and medication. There will be a requirement to cover sleep in sessions. You will be paid an additional £60 per sleep in. The home is a high-dependency, residential care home providing 24-hour nursing and personal care for adults with disabilities, most of whom are younger. People at the home have a wide range of individual choice, enabled by active support from staff. The service takes a person-centred, flexible approach.
