Location: Attleborough

Salary: SCALE 5-6 £24,790 - £25,183 FTE

Hours: Term time plus two weeks, 32.5 hours per week (monday to friday)

The Academy joined the Education Trust in June 2020 which was an exciting and important development for the school. The Role

They are seeking to appoint a flexible, resilient and hardworking Office Administrator to join the Academy’s Support Team. The successful candidate will be an active member of the team in order to maximise the efficiency of all administrative work that supports the academic and personal development of their students.

Based in the Main Office and reporting to the Director of Administration, the Office Administrator will be responsible for providing support to all aspects of the Academy’s administrative function and be the first point of contact for all school visitors. This position will include handling of sensitive and confidential information along with daily liaison with staff, parents, students and other external bodies to ensure the smooth running of the office.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Candidates should have experience of working in a busy and demanding reception/office environment as well as a good knowledge of IT systems including Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent customer service, professionalism and a willingness to go above and beyond is at the forefront of this role.
  • They ask that applicants be energetic, pro-active and enthusiastic as well as possessing a calm, organised and approachable character which is seen as an essential part of the role.
  • You must have a clear commitment to working with young people and be able to set clear guidelines for them.
